i hope your weekend is going good lots of snow here hope the weather is not to bad where you are. Here are my favorite pins this week

how about some yummy peanut butter Reese pieces & cups cookies. I just love Reese's pieces and Reese's peanut butter cups so why not in a cookie can't wait to make these

spring is coming and we all will want to do some spring cleaning why not take this tip and clean your windows outside from the inside. Use your swiffer with paper towel on it i bet you could even spray a little Windex on it to really give it a shine.

I just love this hair do i really would love to do this sailor's knot braid it looks real nice and perfect to keep you hair out of your face

book review : prayers of a stranger by davis bunn

I got this book from book sneeze to do a review this book was a great read it really made me think a lot about life

This book is about a couple Amanda and Chris Vance Amanda who works at the local hospital as an administrative assistant and Chris who works for a electronics company the year before Amanda was pregnant just before Christmas she had a miscarriage both her and Chris were devastated Christmas was a complete mess that year they had went to Chris sisters Claire for Christmas but Amanda seeing all the children was too much for her so in the middle of the night they left Claire was not pleased.

Christmas is coming again the painful memory still there with a baby room never touched a reminder of what could have been. She has two neighbors frank and Emily. Frank volunteers at the hospital and is due to have hip replacement surgery Frank and Emily were supposed to go but with Frank needing surgery he can't go so Emily invites Amanda to go to the holly land with her

 While there they visit the wailing wall they meet a lady name Miriam who is asking to heal a child at the wall so Amanda who was a pediatric nurse before the miscarriage goes to help the child who is small and frail as time goes on she finds out how to help the child they tragedy strikes while away frank falls and breaks his hip and needs surgery so Emily fly's back early while Amanda stays to help the child Amanda days later comes back and feels like a weight has been lifted from her shoulders feeling happier like she was before her miscarriage knowing the lord is there to help her.

i know its been too long since i have done one of these but i have been going through a lot and not had time to blog hopefully i can get back on track here is some of my favorite finds on pinterest for this week

this cute little no sew purse made out of a bandanna is very easy to make

with valentine's day coming why not make your sweetheart some candy like this nutella candy shaped like hearts would be nice even in a little box 

looking for a quick weeknight meal ? how about hash brown casserole i know its on my menu tonight for dinner

want to make your own cake with a picture on top ? just take this design using a coloring page and wax paper volla picture on a cake made out of icing just like in the stores

looking for a valentine's day snack for the kids ? how about some cupid's crunch perfect for the kids classroom valentine's day parties

love fudge ? looking for a new recipe instead of plain old fudge? well how about creamsicle fudge brings me back to my childhood of creamsicle its just in fudge form :)

green way to kill ants : hydrogen peroxide

i just found out this wonderful solution to kill ants hydrogen peroxide. today i had ants in my kitchen yet again so i went looking for something safe to spray i could not find anything but a spray bottle with hydrogen peroxide i bought from dollarama a while back so i thought what the hey i will try it so i sprayed it on the aunts instantly they died why did i not think of this before. now if you don't have it already in a spray bottle just go to the dollar store and buy a spray bottle and keep it in your home for the ants i'm not sure if it works on other bugs but if it does please tell me in the comments below it does work such a relief i tell you i was sick in tired of ants in my kitchen all the time thank goodness for hydrogen peroxide.

book review : thunder dog by michael hingson

so here is another book review thunder dog by Michael hingson about a blind man with his guide dog Roselle and how they escaped the world trade centre on 9/11

michael hingson was born on february 24Th 1950 in Chicago kept in an incubator for 3 month's due to being born prematurely he ended up with what they thought was cataract's but later on when his aunt took care of him she noticed he did not react to light she knew something was wrong. at 6 month's old he was diagnosed with being blind he did not get his first seeing eye dog until his teens

on the day of 9/11 was a normal day he went up to his office on the 78Th floor of the world trade centre and prepared for a meeting that was to take place that morning then at 8:46 am he and his colleague David heard a bang

there was debris in their office and the windows were blown out they knew they something had happened at this point they did not know what do they started to leave descending down the stairs his guide dog beside him to lead the way 78 floors down

this book was a great read it tells his side of the story and others who were involved and how he got out with Roselle help he also explains his childhood how he became blind and how he managed through his life at that point

i recommend this book to anyone who wants a good book and a great story about hero's and life

book review : faith not by sight

I received this book a while ago from book sneeze once i started reading it i could not put it down such a great book and an inspiration 

Scott McIntyre blind from birth had to overcome many obstacles due to his blindness born in California his parents finding out he was blind did not stop them from making scott's life normal as possible from an early age he was interested in music he learned music by ear as being blind he could not read sheet music.

at age 10 he did his first performance playing for a neighbour wedding an was interviewed by CNN. Scott was home schooled and at 14 entered Arizona State University studying music and graduated from ASU and won the Marshall scholarship. Then on the day he graduated he finds out from the doctor he has kidney faliure very unusual for a 19 year old his cardline levels were very high doctors said he needed a transplant.

being brought up in a religious family he turned to god for answers in his life and god showed him the way he was destined for London England to study at the university of London and the royal college of music in London although his cardline levels still high he was cleared to study abroad in London after some obstacles with the schools.

after a year in London Scott turned for the worse and was told he needed a transplant by Christmas or he would die so the search was on to find a donor and soon one was found he had the transplant and after months of recovery he was better able to play music again and enjoy life and thankful to the lord for giving him a second chance at life

in 2008 Scott tried out for american idol and got in shortly after his sister Katelyn  got sick with kidney failure just like he did even though with his sister sick  he went on american idol to sing for thousands he was in the top 8 when he was eliminated on April 8 2009 

shortly after he was eliminated his sister had her transplant and he went on tour with the american idol live tour on June 18 2011 he married his best friend and girlfriend Christina and Scott is still playing music.

book review : nights of rain and stars

I recently finished this great  book nights of rain and stars by maeve binchy. now i have never read one of her books but i was most impressed  reading it just made me want to be there.

the story is set in a Greek island in a town of Anna aghia  where a terrible boat accident happened locals and tourists die and the owner of the taverna witnesses it with 5 tourists there 

these is 5 people who come to the island but only 4 remain as Shane who ends up in jail these 4 become friends tragedy brought them together as they learn more about each other and there lives they become friends then they meet vonni who is from Ireland and came to Anna aghia many years ago and is mysterious but they all find out her story in time.

Elsa : is from Germany  who works in television but has ran away from a lover.

Fiona and Shane : are :from Ireland Fiona who is a nurse  and Shane who is brute has can be who  traveling around but things do not work out for the best Fiona gets pregnant Shane beats her and ends up in jail and Fiona has a miscarriage 

Thomas : from California who has a son is divorced now his wife remarried and is giving his son time to adjust with a new man in his life but misses his son but in a way don't want to go back

David : is from England who is seeing the world but don't want to go home because of his overbearing father

They all have problems but vonni makes each of them see what mistakes they are making and they end up all going home with new friendships, new lovers and seeing the world outside of the box that they live in. 

i really recommend this book a must read for everyone
